We’re very pleased to bring you the January 2021 issue of your magazine, Staff Matters.
With the latest lockdown bringing with it many personal and professional challenges, it’s not the start to 2021 that we had hoped for.
We’re therefore focusing on the positive, and are proud to share news of two MBEs in the Queen’s New Year Honours for Medicine’s Professor Keith Godfrey and Dr Nisreen Alwan, as well as a whole host of other achievements by our remarkable colleagues.
Further highlights include reflections on:
- the many ways the University is contributing to COVID-19 research
- the Ignite Programme, and
- a national award for the Mouse Exchange project.
