REMINDER: 2021 Science and Engineering Festival registration closes and a series of training webinars begin this month.
The deadline to submit an event or activity to Southampton Science and Engineering Festival (SOTSEF) is fast approaching. Details on how to make your entries, including dedicated ID and password, are available on this dedicated webpage.
The deadline for an activity/event registration is Saturday 30 January 2021.
Support for students and staff will be provided through the new Public Engagement w/Research Community MS Teams channel, the UoS Festival Sharepoint site, and a dedicated series of virtual training events which will take place this January and February. These include:
- Wed 20 January, 11:00-12:00, Introduction to SOTSEF 2021
- Wed 3 February, 11:00-12:00, Social media for digital engagement
- Wed 10 February, 11:00-12:00, Planning digital events
- Wed 17 February, 10:00-12:00, Engaging through live broadcasting (with Dr Jamie Gallagher)
Registration is not required, but please save your event(s) of interest on your calendar using the dedicated link in Sharepoint.
SOTSEF is the University’s annual STEM festival organised by the Public Engagement with Research unit (PERu) and will run from Friday 5 March to Sunday 14 March.
