LGBT+ History Month began on 1 February with Pulse LGBT+ Staff Network running their first Safe Listening Space session where network members were able to share their personal experiences in a safe environment.
Throughout this month staff and students across the University will be hosting a series of events to increase the visibility of LGBT+ people by exploring their history, lives, and experiences.
Take a look at Friday 5 February’s event “Drag Me to Filth!”, organised by SUSU with Rose XO, a cabaret superstar. It’s a chaotic, campy classic that has toured University Student Unions across the South. Register or for more information.
