A doctor for more than 40 years, Dr Chaand Nagpaul is a pioneer in his field and a vocal advocate of equality in health. In 2017, he became the first person from an ethnic minority to chair the doctors’ union, the British Medical Association (BMA).
This event, held in association with the Asian Media Group, is the second in the University India Centre’s series of Ramniklal Solanki Pioneers ‘Fireside Chats’. Join Dr Nagpaul in conversation with Professor Barnie Choudhury. The project is supported by Eastern Eye, India Business Group and UKRI.
