University of Southampton Malaysia moves to new purpose-built campus in July 2021

After a number of years in at its current home in EduCity, Johor, University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM) will be moving to a purpose-built campus in July 2021. The new campus in EcoBotanic City is only a five-minute journey from EduCity and will be welcoming students in September 2021.

Set within the grounds of EcoGalleria the new campus will be an integral part of the development and students will benefit from shopping, dining, entertainment and accommodation within the complex.

The purpose-built facility will be able to accommodate up to 2,000 students on campus with lecture halls seating up to 200 students. Practical studies will also benefit from:

  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering Laboratories
  • Dry Research Laboratory
  • Design Studio
  • Computer Science Laboratories
  • General Computer Laboratory
  • Materials and Structures Laboratory
  • Engineering Foundation Year Laboratories
  • Thermofluids Laboratory
  • Aero Laboratory
  • Green Energy Laboratory
  • Mechanical Workshop

Alongside moving campus UoSM has added 4 new courses this year with another four in the pipeline for students to start in September 2021. A full list of courses now available at UoSM is:
