BBC Radio Four Quiz Show ‘The 3rd Degree’ is coming to the University of Southampton and you’re invited!
On Friday 5 March, a team of Lecturers will be taking on their students in a battle of wits, as they go head to head on ‘The 3rd Degree’. It’s a quiz with a mixture of general knowledge, specialist subjects, lots of buzzing and a round called Highbrow/Lowbrow where the students get the chance to land their lecturers with a really tough question about Beyoncé – so long as they can answer the one about Barthes…
The staff team will consist of Neil Gostling (Biological Sciences), Louis Bayman (Film) and Delia Crowe (Fashion Design).
The recording is taking place on Friday 5 March and you can register to watch for free.
It will be available on Radio Four on 31 May at 15:00
You will be sent a Zoom link on the day of the show. Virtual doors will open at 17:40 for the show to begin at 18:00!
