March issue of Staff Matters published today

We’re pleased to bring you the March 2021 issue of your magazine, Staff Matters.

In this issue we highlight International Women’s Day, which takes place on Monday 8 March, celebrating six colleagues who’ve chosen to challenge gender inequality.

It’s been almost a year since the first lockdown and preparing this edition, with its many remarkable stories from across our community, has felt like an antidote to ‘pandemic fatigue’.

Highlights this month include:

  • Hearing how the Disability Steering Group worked to maintain our University’s Disability Confident Leader status
  • Learning about how the Perseverance space vehicle is operating on Mars
  • Meeting our Wellbeing Champions
  • Gaining official accreditation for being a hedgehog-friendly campus

We hope you enjoy this edition.
