We’re pleased to bring you the March 2021 issue of your magazine, Staff Matters.
In this issue we highlight International Women’s Day, which takes place on Monday 8 March, celebrating six colleagues who’ve chosen to challenge gender inequality.
It’s been almost a year since the first lockdown and preparing this edition, with its many remarkable stories from across our community, has felt like an antidote to ‘pandemic fatigue’.
Highlights this month include:
- Hearing how the Disability Steering Group worked to maintain our University’s Disability Confident Leader status
- Learning about how the Perseverance space vehicle is operating on Mars

- Gaining official accreditation for being a hedgehog-friendly campus
