Personal Academic Tutor training starting 23 March

Being a Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) is a key part of the role of academics and one that has great potential in ensuring the success of our students. As an institution, we know that effective personal academic tutoring promotes student persistence, enhances success, and helps address differential attainment.

Given the importance of the PAT role, CHEP has developed a series of PAT training sessions to support you in supporting your students.

The PAT Training is divided into six sessions with session one: The foundations of Personal Academic Tutoring: Role and responsibilities starting on 23 March. Each should take no more than two hours of your time.

The sessions are staged, to allow time to complete one before moving on to another.

You are being asked to register your details, so please visit the PAT Training page to locate the form and find out more details.
