As part of the trade agreement reached between the UK and the EU on 24 December 2020, the UK has announced that it will associate to Horizon Europe. Horizon Europe will follow on from Horizon 2020 as the EU’s main funding programme for research and innovation with an anticipated €95.5 billion budget and will run from 2021 to 2027.
From 22 to 25 March, the KTN Global Alliance and Innovate UK will be presenting a series of webinars on each of Horizon Europe’s six Clusters in Pillar II: Global Challenges & European Industrial Competitiveness.
Each Cluster will be introduced in detail so you can get prepared before the first funding calls are announced (expected mid-April), start thinking about who you would like to collaborate and form partnerships with, and to have all the information you need in advance.
These online webinars are open to UK as well as European delegates with an interest in participating in European collaborative projects in Horizon Europe. The webinars are:
- Cluster 1: Health – 22 March, 10am to 12 noon
- Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility – 22 March, 2pm to 4pm
- Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space – 23 March, 10am to 12 noon
- Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment – 23 March, 2pm to 4pm
- Cluster 2: Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society & Cluster 3: Civil Security and Society – 25 March, 10am to 12 noon
If you’d like to find out more about the content of the Clusters, please visit RIS’ Horizon Europe SharePoint page to see brief summaries and the draft Work Programmes for each Cluster. To find out more about the webinars and to register, please visit the KTN website.
