As you may be aware, the Government has now announced that students who are not already attending in-person teaching sessions (i.e. students on programmes that do not have a practical element) will not be able to return to on-campus teaching until 17 May at the earliest.
We will continue to provide students with access to online education and continue to operate the campus as we had planned, with many of our services including libraries, catering, study spaces and sports facilities open.
We have been planning for a variety of situations, including this one, and now we have received the Government guidance we will be carefully finalising these plans and will update you next week with further information. In the meantime, we will continue to plan for the introduction of in-person teaching for our January-start PGT cohorts from 7 June.
