Research and Innovation Services (RIS) have taken a new subscription to ResearchConnect, which replaces the previous subscription to Research Professional.
ResearchConnect is an online database featuring thousands of research funding opportunities across all disciplines, from a wide range of UK and global funders.
Accessible to University staff, the database allows you to:
- use the advanced or free text search function to find relevant funding opportunities
- save commonly used searches, set up email alerts and create tailored reports of results
- share and comment on funding opportunities with selected individuals or groups.
Please access the site here: https://search.myresearchconnect.com/ and choose ‘Institutional login’ to login using your university credentials. Further guidance can be found on our Research Connect Sharepoint page, including Faculty searches which can be used as a starting point for tailoring your own personal searches.
Martin Clancy from ResearchConnect will be running an online introductory training session on Thursday 24 June, 14:00-15:15. This will include how to use the search function and how to set up funding and news alerts. As part of the training there will also be an opportunity to practice using the interface and ask any questions. Please sign up here.
