The health and wellbeing of our staff and students continues to be our top priority. The evidence suggests that the COVID-19 vaccination is highly effective at preventing serious illness and we actively encourage and support our community to receive their vaccinations as soon as they are eligible.
There is no law that says people must have the vaccine and the University understands that there may be some people who are advised not to have the vaccine, for example for health reasons.
www.covidvaxfacts.info is a vaccine hesitancy intervention software application, developed by researchers from our University, Kings College and Nottingham. Its aim is to help people decide whether to get vaccinated.
