Our list of courses currently available to prospective students in this year’s Clearing period is now available online.
Clearing is a crucial time in our calendar when prospective students explore their options, if they’re applying to University after 30 June 2021 or if their results are different to what they expected.
We are publishing our list today in line with when UCAS officially opens Clearing 2021 for entry into UK universities. By publishing our list of vacancies on our Clearing webpages we will be supporting suitably qualified students to explore their options at Southampton as well as supporting them to understand the Clearing process for 2021.
We are already seeing an increasing number of students who want to explore their options before finding out their results, and who are searching for vacancies at Southampton. Both our Clearing and how Clearing works webpages have both witnessed significant traffic once again with people signing up to receive our Clearing alerts.
Confirmation and Clearing calendar
- 5 July: Clearing opens for 2021 entry & International Baccalaureate (IB) results received
- 4 August (12:00) – 10 August (08:30): Embargo period
- 10 August: A level and Scottish Qualification Awards (SQA) results day
- 10/11 August: University Confirmation and Clearing hotlines open
