Drinking water will be unavailable and some toilets will be out of action on parts of Highfield Campus from Monday 12 until Thursday 15 July while Estates and Facilities carry out work to replace valves on the University’s water network.
Specific areas affected are as follows:
Buildings 38, 40, 42, 44
From 16:30 on Monday 12 July until 08:00 Tuesday 13 July
Buildings 46 and 48
From 16:30 on Monday 12 July until 12 midday Tuesday 13 July
Buildings 2, 4, 6, 39, 52, 54, 58, 67
From 16:30 on Monday 12 July until 16:00 Wednesday 14 July
Buildings 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 15a, 19, 21 and 25
From 09:00 to 13:00 on Thursday 15 July
No other buildings will be affected by the works.
Staff and students who need to visit any of these affected areas, during the above periods, are advised to bring their own drinking water. ‘Closed’ signs will be posted on toilets which are not functioning with a list of the nearest working toilets.
