During the water shut down of West Highfield Campus yesterday (Monday, 12 July) there were unforeseen difficulties that delayed progress. The consequence is a further isolation of the water supply is required on Wednesday, 14 July.
For the whole of today, (Tuesday, 13 July), water supplies have been restored to all buildings.
The further isolations required are as follows:
Wednesday 14 July
Buildings 38 and 40
From 06:00 to 09:00
Buildings 2, 4, 6, 39, 52, 54, 58, 67
From 06:00 to 16:00
The shut down of East Highfield Campus remains as previously scheduled for Thursday, 15 July. This will affect Buildings 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 15a, 19, 21 and 25.
No other buildings will be affected by the works.
Staff and students who need to visit any of the affected areas, during the above periods, are advised to bring their own drinking water. ‘Closed’ signs will be posted on toilets which are not functioning with a list of the nearest working toilets.
