We are pleased to (virtually) welcome the British Academy to Southampton on Wednesday 21 July. The Research Funding Development team within RIS is organising two sessions with the British Academy, outlining research funding opportunities and showcasing two British Academy Fellowship awardees.
Session 1: 10:00 to 11.15, Wednesday 21 July
Presentation from the British Academy on funding opportunities, followed by a question and answer session. The presentation will be given by Ken Emond, Head of Research Funding, and Lesley Talbot, Deputy Head of Research Funding.
Session 2: 11.30 to 12.30, Wednesday 21 July
Two British Academy Fellowship awardees from the University of Southampton – Dr Lee Walters, Deputy Head of School (Research) in Humanities and Associate Professor of Philosophy, Chris Armstrong, Professor of Political Theory – will discuss their experiences of applying for the fellowships. There will be a question and answer session after the presentations.
The sessions will be held on Zoom. Please register on Eventbrite for one or both sessions.
