Removal of one-way systems

Following the implementation of Step 4 of the Government Roadmap we are continuing to prepare our campuses for the new academic year. As part of the campus preparations we will be removing some of the signage and systems you may have become familiar with over the last year.

Highfield campus

Over the coming weeks we will be removing the following one-ways systems:

  • Externally – this work is due to be completed by Friday 20 August
  • Public access buildings (eg B37, library, staff club, b100, SUSU buildings) – this work is underway and will be completed by 20 August
  • Faculty buildings – this work will commence on 23 August
  • Common learning spaces – this will happen in early September

When using our buildings, please follow any directional signage until it has been removed and continue to follow our safety measures that will be remaining in place:

  • Wear face coverings when moving around inside our buildings or in crowded spaces
  • Practise good personal and hand hygiene
  • Continue to practise physical distancing
  • Ensure you clean your own areas on common spaces
  • Follow appropriate meeting room and local guidance

Visit the Health Safety and Risk pages for full guidance on working on our campuses.
