Research and Innovation Services (RIS) has launched two new brochures to showcase the University’s diverse and world-leading talent and support offerings.
Space at Southampton 2021 celebrates how we’re changing the world with our pioneering space research, comprehensive space-enabled technologies, world class testing facilities, cutting-edge collaborations and unique opportunities for students, researchers and industry partners.
The publication takes a look at how we are helping to support the Government’s target to grow its share of the global space sector from 6.5 per cent to 10 per cent by 2030. We put the spotlight on our space research groups, space start-ups, space research that is influencing policy, research enabled by satellite data, and the development of next-generation satellites.

Collaborate With Us showcases the University’s research capabilities, business services, specialist facilities and high-calibre students.
The brochure, produced by RIS’ Business Engagement team, demonstrates how we can – and do – support businesses across a wide range of expertise and specialisms.
Our world-leading institutes are featured, along with our specialist enterprise units. There is also detail about Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, working with students and graduates, and the University of Southampton Science Park.
