The Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) is pleased to announce four workshops and events during October to support learning, teaching and research, which are open to all staff.
Wednesday 6 October – Academic Integrity: Introduction to the Academic Integrity Regulations online workshop
2021-22 will see substantial changes to the University’s approach to academic integrity. This workshop will demonstrate how regulations have changed in terms of the University’s approach to academic integrity and where you can find additional support.
Monday 11 October – How to attract and work successfully with industry partners
Meet our three Royal Society Entrepreneurs in this one-off event, as they share their experience on research bids and industrial engagement for research and commercialisation.
Wednesday 20 October – Discover more about ‘The Conversation’
Editors from ‘The Conversation’ are running an online media training session, that is open to all but particularly directed at the University’s academic community on how to pitch and write for the publication.
Wednesday 27 October – Public Policy Southampton: How to influence policymakers
You will gain practical knowledge on how researchers can engage policymakers and contribute to policymaking in this interactive workshop.
