The University’s draft Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise (KEE) Strategic Plan is open for consultation.
KEE is how we translate our research and education into tangible benefits for our business partners, stakeholders and wider society – it is our impact on the real world.
The KEE Strategic Plan will underpin the University Strategy and the aim is to launch at the same time, in early in 2022.
The draft plan shares our vision for KEE and intent of the plan, together with emphasis on developing our KEE culture. Five draft strategic goals are put forward, along with some underpinning principles and an outline of how we will get there (the High Level Action Plan). The draft plan also details how performance and success will be measured.
Diana Galpin, Director of Enterprise and Knowledge Exchange, Research and Innovation Services, said: “Southampton has a great reputation for enterprise and innovation and a really positive result in the first Knowledge Exchange Framework exercise. But we don’t want to rest on our laurels as we know there are areas for improvement and potential to achieve more for society and the economy.
“We are committed to a journey of continual improvement in order to deliver on the ambition of our KEE Strategic Plan to set the solid foundations to enable our staff and students to achieve remarkable things.
“We’re really keen to hear your thoughts and views on our draft KEE Strategic Plan so I would urge you to take a look and have your say.”
The draft plan is out for consultation until Friday 15 October.
Find out more, read the draft plan and have your say via the KEE Strategic Plan SharePoint site.
