Reminder: COVID reporting form and illness

With the Autumn Term underway, and many of our staff and students regularly attending campuses, it remains a priority to ensure we are monitoring and tracking cases of COVID within our community to help manage rates of infection and keep our community safe.

We also know that autumn and winter months bring around some seasonal ailments and encourage our community to take extra care to prevent the spread of these.

Staff illness and COVID reporting process:

  • If you are feeling unwell for any reason, or have COVID like symptoms such as a cough, please do stay at home.
  • If you are symptomatic, or a member of your household has tested positive, ensure you get a PCR test as soon as possible.
  • If you have tested positive, are self-isolating, or symptomatic, please report this through the staff COVID reporting form
  • Complete the sickness absence form within MyHR if relevant.

Through reporting COVID cases or requirements to self-isolate it helps us gather the information to make sure we’re providing support for our staff and students as well as making decisions informed by the data.
