COVID-19 has changed the way people travel.
With more people working from home, the number of people commuting in and out of Southampton has fallen. The role of public transport to connect the suburbs to each other as well as the city centre is now more important than ever, as people choose to make a greater number of short distance journeys.
The purpose of this survey, undertaken by an MEng Civil Engineering Group Design Project in conjunction with the University’s Transportation Research Group, is to understand how people are making such journeys and to assess attitudes towards the transport network currently provided in Southampton.
Staff and students are invited to fill in the survey using the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/r0X048wTj9
