SUSU has produced a video series; “Black Student Voices”, with students sharing their experiences and perspectives on a number of topics as part of their programme of events for Black History Month. The wider programme across October has also seen talks and debates, live music, menu takeovers in The Bridge, film screenings and a black-tie ball taking place for students to celebrate and learn.
The full Black History Month playlist is available for you to view along with the four part series of:
- Part One: How Might a Black Student Experience Uni Differently to a White Student?
- Part Two: Why Does Representation Matter?
- Part Three: What Does It Mean To Decolonise the Curriculum?
- Part Four: How Can We Make a Positive Change?
