Two interim appointments have been made to head up Research and Innovations Services’ Research Integrity and Governance (RIG) team.

The posts will cover Alison Knight’s role as Head of Research Integrity and Governance while she is on secondment to the Health Research Authority as Data and Privacy Expert for the next 12 months.
David Steynor, currently Impact Framework Manager, has been appointed Interim Head of RIG (Non-Clinical) and Linda Hammond, currently Research Funding Manager, has been appointed Interim Head of RIG (Clinical). Their 12-month part-time appointments commence on Monday 1 November 2021, with both continuing fractional working patterns in their current roles.
In addition, Anna Lewkowicz has been promoted to Research Compliance Manager in the RIG team. A Research Integrity Officer (Ethics and Policy) will be recruited to fill her current role, and a new post of Clinical Governance Research Manager is also being recruited.
