New Sustainability e-learning module

With the world’s eyes trained on COP26 in Glasgow, we’re introducing a new interactive e-learning module for our staff and students to learn more about sustainability.

This training, entitled ‘Southampton Sustainability Solutions’, has been created by the Sustainability Goal 4 Project Team, as part of the Strategic Plan – Sustainability.

The course is split over three sections. Each section will take around an hour to complete and can be done all at once, or one hour per week, for example. The sections are:

  1. Why does sustainability matter – a look into the global issue of sustainability.
  2. Our strategy – what the University is doing to address sustainability.
  3. What does this mean to me? – what individuals can do to help.

To our students – whilst the course is not accredited, it will give you an insight into what the University is doing and how you can get involved.

To our staff – don’t miss this month’s edition of your Staff Matters and learn how four Southampton scientists contributed to the science underpinning the negotiations at COP26.
