The Future Ways of Working programme is exploring ways to improve our working environment, hybrid working practices, and technology to support hybrid and remote working via pilots over the 21/22 academic year. We’ll be working closely with our colleagues to design a framework and gather feedback, ensuring that we jointly develop our future way of working.
We appreciate that departments have already made provisional local decisions to enable a return to campus and that every individual has different needs. Some teams are already working in a hybrid way – splitting their time between the office and home. To help you in the interim, we have created a SharePoint site with information about the programme, pilots and guidance and resources to support hybrid working. We will add to this as we learn and from talking with you about the areas where you most need guidance in the short or medium term.
We’ll be sharing more information with you about the pilots and their progress over the next few months. There won’t be any decisions or formal changes to University policies until we have completed the pilots and engaged with teams across the University. Please take some time to look at the SharePoint site, and if you have any feedback, please email [email protected].
