PGR Wellbeing session – 10 December, 10:00-11.30
We know that studying for a PhD can be tough, and this may be intensified by the impact of the pandemic. Facilitated by the Student Wellbeing Team, the PGR Wellbeing Session is a small group which encourages doctoral researchers to make meaningful connections with each other in a safe environment.
The group provides an opportunity to meet with other PhD students in a similar situation and discuss topics such as stress, work-life balance, isolation, loneliness and the impact of COVID-19. PGRs can have a positive impact on the wellbeing of their peers by offering each other support and practical solutions. To register for the session, please email [email protected].
Feedback and wellbeing – Wednesday 15 December, 13:00-14:30
Academic feedback differs at doctoral level, and this workshop will explore how academic feedback can sometimes impact on our wellbeing.
Each workshop can be booked through PGR Manager – please note that there are limited spaces available, so we encourage you to book early to secure your space.
