We are pleased to now be able to offer twice weekly saliva testing for COVID-19 for all our students and staff this winter. For those already registered, you will have received communications updating you on this. For those not yet registered, please do take advantage of this free service to help keep our community safe.
All students are expected to test regularly before accessing our campuses and facilities. Staff who are regularly attending campus are also expected to test. The saliva test is simple to take, doesn’t involve a swab and gives accurate results by text message and email within 24-48 hours.
We recommend taking two saliva tests each week (ideally three-four days apart) and topping up with a lateral flow test if you need to access an event or venue.
To register, follow the instructions and a test pack will be sent to your registered address.
The saliva testing programme was originally developed and piloted at the University, so you can be proud that what started here is now helping thousands of people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight every day.
