If you are a student parent or have childcare duties then please join Savanna Cutts, Vice-President Welfare and Community at SUSU, for a discussion about the childcare facilities currently available at the University. This session will focus on the Early Years Centre (EYC), as well as any barriers students with children are facing when it comes to using on-campus childcare facilities.
The Early Years Centre is the University-run childcare centre/ nursery facility located on Highfield Campus. We would love to hear your thoughts on the EYC if you do use it for your children, and if you do not use it, we would be interested to understand your reasons.
The aim of these sessions is to see if and how the EYC could be improved, so that it could be as valuable and useful as it can be for our student parents. The feedback generated by the discussions will be passed on to Emma Rowsell, the University’s Associate Director of Student Services, for review.
If you would like to get involved in the discussion, then please register your interest using the form linked and use it to indicate your availability. The final dates and times will be decided after the form closes.
For any queries about the session please reach out to Savanna Cutts, VP Welfare and Community at [email protected].
