The current platform that hosts our SUSSED portal will be transferred to SharePoint on Monday 6 December.
It will integrate with our suite of Microsoft 365 apps, allowing staff and students to use a flexible and familiar system. The new platform will reduce the number of sites staff and students have to navigate and have better safety features.
Over the coming months we will continue to improve the system, working with colleagues from across our community.
Other benefits of the new platform include:
- an integrated University and local news stream, so staff and students can remain up to date with the latest University developments.
- an integrated search function with SharePoint.
- all the features found on the current SUSSED platform – access to Agresso, MyHR, email, Blackboard, timetables and Coronavirus updates.
The web address www.sussed.soton.ac.uk will remain in place for a seamless transition, and you will be able to log in, in the normal way. The main features of SUSSED will remain available, all bookmarked links will still be accessible and email subscriptions for SUSSED news will still work.
