Have you engaged with the ATAS application process in 2021? Have your say!

Did you experience any issues when Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS)? The Policy and Insight Team would be very interested to hear your feedback about the application process to assist the ATAS team at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) to help plan for future years.

Take part in the ATAS survey 

Before you start the survey, you will need to have ready:

  • Your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) email 
  • Your ATAS application 
  • Dates of any correspondence with the ATAS team 
  • Your University ID.
  • You will also be asked to provide a number of dates about your course and when you applied for ATAS etc. 

Your responses will be collected and shared with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the Russell Group and Universities UK (UUK) to improve the ATAS process for future years and internally here at Southampton for planning purposes only. Your personal details or responses will not be used to identify you as an individual. 

The survey will be open up until Friday 21 January 2022. It has received ethics approval through the AREQA process (approval number 2021/251).
