On Monday 10 January, in conjunction with the launch of the new University Strategy, we began the rollout of the new University logo across key digital platforms including our website. The Brand SharePoint site has now been updated with all the new files, and guidance on how to use them. The new logo brings together the wordmark and our heraldic shield into one device, which should now be used on all new University branded materials.
All of our design agencies, including the University Print Centre have been supplied with the full deck of logos and they can apply them to all your new projects.
We have updated the PowerPoint template and Teams backgrounds, which you can find on the Brand SharePoint site. The PowerPoint templates were developed in partnership with colleagues in the Digital Learning Team to ensure they meet accessibility standards.
As we noted in our previous SUSSED post, the new logo is being implemented on an iterative basis so that the rollout is managed and cost effective. Many of the examples on the Brand site will also still show the old logo while we develop updated examples based on new materials. This means that you’ll still see the old logo in many places on campus and online, and there is no current expectation that you should update any materials solely to change the logo.
