The National Student Survey (NSS) will open to final year undergraduates from:
Thursday 3 February – Saturday 30 April 2022
Why NSS?
We want every voice heard and to reflect as many student views as possible. The results from the survey will help the University shape the planning process and directly enhance the experience of our students: a shared goal for all at the University.
Who is it for?
All eligible final year students will receive an email with a personalised link to take part. The invite will be sent from Ipsos MORI, who conduct the survey. Students can also fill out the survey online.
How long is it for?
From Thursday 3 February – Saturday 30 April 2022. We recommend that students take part in the survey as soon as they can, to avoid follow up communications from Ipsos MORI, encouraging participation.
How to get involved?
We appreciate it’s a busy time in the academic year, so the Student Communications Team will soon be distributing easy-to-use promotional material to help staff reach all students, and amplify the value of taking part locally – this is generally most effective at raising awareness of the survey.
The survey will also be promoted centrally via our student communication channels as well as through display materials around our Southampton and Winchester campuses, to encourage participation across the University.
