You can also run for a volunteer role in these elections to represent students alongside your studies as a Faculty Officer, Trustee, Senator or Chair of Senate.

The Sabbatical Officer roles are full-time, paid positions. If elected, you will hold office between 1 July 2022 and 31 June 2023. You can either run for these roles in your final year or pause your studies for a year while in office.

Any of the open roles would provide you with a wealth of experience and improve your employability prospects. Nominations are open until Wednesday 9 February at 16:00. You can find out more about the roles and nominate yourself on the SUSU website.

If running in the Elections is not for you but you know someone who would be great, you can also ‘Suggest A Friend’ for a role on the SUSU website.

If you have any questions about running in the Elections, you can contact SUSU at [email protected], or come along to an Elections drop-in session. More information about the drop-in sessions can be found on the SUSU calendar page.
