Apply for a Student Innovation Project and work with a real-life business

We are excited to announce that Student Innovation Projects are now open for applications for Semester Two, with a variety of virtual and in-person opportunities to get involved in.

Open to all students studying any degree, at any level, our Student Innovation Projects are designed to offer you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience of working on a real-life business scenario challenge, put forward by local businesses or non-profit organisations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your business acumen, team working skills by working with 4 or 5 other students on a 4-week project. These projects are a great way to build your awareness of business problems; gain an insight into how to build a professional network and develop other transferable skills that will help you after graduating.

All successful candidates are to input approximately 4-6 hours of work per week to ensure best results.

How to apply

To apply, log in to the Careers Portal ‘MyCareer‘, click the ‘Search’ tab and go to ‘Student Innovation Projects’.

When you click ‘Apply Here’ on the right-hand side, you will be taken to a screen where you will be able to upload your CV and answer a few questions.
