Tackling industry’s environmental challenges

Energy and environmental challenges for industry – and how cutting-edge research and innovation could help solve them – will be under the spotlight at an event on Monday 14 February.

The roundtable event, being staged by the SETsquared ICURe Programme, will be an opportunity to hear about industry priorities for innovation.

Representatives from Mitsubishi, Shell, UK Water Industry Research and others will be discussing the topic with Lucy Siegle, reporter on the BBC’s The One Show and environmental writer for The Guardian, The Observer and The Times. They will set out their energy and environmental challenges, including water usage, energy consumption, manufacturing processes, and use of natural resources.

The aim of the event is to establish opportunities for researchers and innovative start-ups to help solve these problems.

The Energy and Environment Innovation Roundtable is open to everyone and will take place online on Monday 14 February 2022 from 8.30am to 10.30am. For more information and to book your place, visit the SETsquared website.
