How to prepare

  • Book online in advance of the events. Research the work, opportunities and employers you are interested in and write down a list of questions so you can get all the answers you are looking for.
  • Make a good impression. The people you meet during the Careers Spring Fair could potentially be your future colleagues or manager so make sure to wear smart, comfy clothes.
  • Be prepared to network. Networking with employers, as well as other like-minded students and alumni, is a great start towards working within your industry/sector.
  • Bring your CV and business card. Not necessary for all, however there may be an opportunity to get feedback on your CV from recruiters, and business cards with your contact details can be useful for networking too (or connect online via LinkedIn).
