The University’s Student Inclusion Team are looking to recruit undergraduate students to be part of the Awarding Gap Project panel to help improve the university experience for our Black student body.
Who can take part?
Students from Black ethnic backgrounds – who are currently underrepresented in higher education – are encouraged to join the panel and give insight into the existing activities and interventions targeted at Black students at the university.
Why take part?
Becoming a member of this panel will give you the opportunity to be part of a project that has potential to form a wider case study into the impact of entirely peer-led interventions on the lived experience of Black students in higher education.
You will have the chance to evaluate the impact of existing projects, develop new interventions in response to feedback, and be part of implementing targeted campaigns.
You will gain experience of working on a committee alongside fellow students, questioning and challenging staff, and carrying out campaigns: all to help improve the student experience.
How to apply
If you are interesting in being part of the panel, which is a paid opportunity, use this form to apply before Sunday 27 February.
