The University Staff Networks invite staff and students to join their International Women’s Day event and listen to some inspiring and thought provoking talks from colleagues in our University community.
The Parent and Carer Network, Disability Network, Black, Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) Network, Pulse LGBT+ Network and WiSET+ invite you to join them on Teams from 13.30 – 15.00 on Monday 7 March, the eve of International Women’s Day. Talks from Professor Diana Eccles, Donna Haynes, Dr Ronda Gowland-Pryde, Aysha Rahman and Dr Dawn-Marie Walker will address this year’s theme #BreakTheBias and there will also be some time for attendees to share stories, experiences or ask questions.
Please contact [email protected] to request a link to join the event.
IWD 2022 campaign theme: #BreakTheBias
Imagine a gender equal world.
A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Together we can forge women’s equality.
Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
