Last week, we came together and celebrated University Mental Health Day (UMHD). With lots of activity happening across the University, here are some highlights in pictures.
The day kicked off on Highfield campus starting with the Scavenger Hunt. Students searched high and low for Be Active stickers for the chance to be entered into a prize draw. Winners were announced last week, claiming a £50 and £20 Amazon voucher.
In the Faith and Reflection Centre, students put their creativity to the test with the popular ‘paint your own plant pot’ session complete with a mini plant pot and plant to take home.
Over 100 students came to see the Student Wellbeing Team at Hartley Library to talk about wellbeing, and some were fortunate to take advantage of the free head massages on offer.
Meanwhile, speaker, consultant, author and UoS alumnus Jay Unwin came back to campus to talk about his wellbeing philosophy and strategies to help students get the most from your time at university.
