On Wednesday 16 March improvement works are due to begin on Hartley Library.
Alongside improvements to the roof, the library will be benefitting from enhanced insulation, window and drainage repairs and two new toilet blocks installed on levels 4 and 5.
From 16 March you will notice scaffolding being installed around the building, The University will do all it can to minimise disruption during the installation, however there may need to be temporary footpath closures and diversions immediately to the front and side of the building during this time.
The footpath closures will be in place for approximately two weeks while the scaffolding is installed, and any diversions will be clearly signposted.
Access to the library will remain for the duration of the improvement works. The project is due to be completed by August 2022.
