The semester two assessment period is approaching soon so we’ve put together some initial information to help you. Further advice and support will be published on SUSSED news throughout this period so be sure to check back regularly.
Key dates
The assessment period runs from Monday 23 May – Monday 13 June 2022 (excluding the bank holiday on Thursday 2 June and Friday 3 June, but may include Saturday 28 May and Saturday 11 June).
Timetables
- The generic exam timetable is now available to view on the University website
- Your personal timetable will be published and available to access via your SUSSED account no later than Monday 9 May 2022
- Please note: if exams are cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances (for example, extreme weather or sudden loss of exam venues), they may be rescheduled at short notice. We recommend double checking the timetable details nearer the time of your assessment.
Calculators and dictionaries
If you are required to use calculators or dictionaries in your assessments, please refer to the University website to ensure you are using an approved model. Unapproved models/versions will be taken away.
Assessment venues
Make a note of your venue and seat number ahead of your assessments and plan your journey – you will not be allowed any extra time if you arrive late.
- You can access a detailed map of the University including Highfield Campus
- For those using Unilink Buses, plan your journey on the bus website and leave plenty of time to arrive at your venue.
Get home safe
If you are studying late on campus, we recommend using the Unilink bus service to get home wherever possible. If you need to walk, do it safely:
- Do not walk home alone at night
- Use busy, well-lit areas and main routes/paths
- Never take shortcuts down dark alleys or cut through parks.
Academic Skills Service
The Academic Skills Service can support you with study skills including writing, critical thinking, managing your time and staying focused, maths and statistics, research skills, guidance on exams and so much more. For in-person support, the Academic Skills Hub drop-in service – located on Level Two of Hartley Library – is open Monday to Friday from 10:00-16:00. Visit the website to find out more about the free service.
