We are reminding colleagues from across the University to be part of the Super Graduation experience this year, 20 – 22 July 2022 and to ask for their help in making sure that this is a truly remarkable occasion that our graduates and their families will treasure.
How staff can get involved:
Staff can support Graduation by first contacting their managers to discuss the key roles available and the shifts that best suit the department/directorate. Thereafter, managers or team leaders can complete or approve the completion of the staff registration form by Friday 29 April 2022.
This year, staff supporters are sought from across the University to fulfil key roles including:
- Graduand and Guest Ushers
- Faculty Reception Support
- Graduation Event Support
- Academic Marshals
- University Marshals
- Esquire Bedells
More information on these roles can be found on the Graduation Updates SharePoint site.
Training Session:
All staff supporting the event will be invited to a briefing session to learn more about the event and their allocated role. In addition to the Graduation days (Wednesday 20 – Friday 22 July 2022), staff must be available for one of the on-site training sessions on Tuesday 19 July at either 12:00 – 14:00 or 14:00 – 16:00.
Directing students:
Staff should direct students with questions about Super Graduation to our dedicated graduation website. The site contains detailed FAQs for students, as well as key contact details ([email protected]) that students can use to find out more about Graduation.
