About KAVI-2022
The virtual internship will give you the opportunity to collaborate and network internationally with students from India and Australia. Working in pairs from across the three different time zones, you will undertake live community projects addressing real life challenges in real times in rural India. The projects include:
- Girls’ education
- Sport and development
- Computer education for young people in villages
- Product cataloguing for artisans and craft makers
- Business modelling for rural employment information facilitated by Social Impact Lab
- Developing guidelines for capacity strengthening and:
- Creating organisational impact reports for grassroots NGOs.
Who can apply
If you are currently enrolled in the third year of your undergraduate study or undertaking any postgraduate taught programme, and can demonstrable skills and academic merit supported by your current academic performance, you are eligible to apply for one of the three internship places available.
When does it take place
Successful interns will work on specific projects for a maximum period of six weeks, 20 hours maximum per week, through digital platforms starting on Monday 20 June 2022.
