The Santander Summer Opportunities Fund is now open for applications. This new initiative provides support of up to £750 to go towards a degree-related summer activity to students who are not in their final year and have a household income of under £42,600 or under.
The activities you could receive support towards include anything from volunteering abroad to a museum visit in the UK, or any other event/activity that would enrich your understanding or appreciation of your course and that you could not afford on your own. Whilst your activity should be related to your degree, please note that it must not be a compulsory part of your course.
The application process consists of filling in a short form with details about the proposed activity and the financial support needed to complete it. The deadline for applications is Monday 30 May.
If you are eligible to receive this fund, you should have received an email from the Financial Support Team today (Monday 16 May) with more details and a link to the scholarship page and application form. If you have not received an email and believe you qualify, please contact the Financial Support Team at [email protected].
