Through this scheme, Carlisle is working as a recruitment partner with RefuAid, a refugee charity that helps people start a new life.
RefuAid connect the people they are helping with Carlisle, and Carlisle is referring people to RefuAid to assist with their English to support people to get work.
Carlisle is also working with other charities to support people in finding work.
Impellam has created a website, designed and built in consultation with their own Ukrainian staff, that provides holistic support from training, CV building and interview preparation in English and Ukrainian. The profits made from placing Ukrainian refugees into UK jobs will then be donated to the International Red Cross.
