The Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise Team are delighted to be hosting the first–ever Summer JobsFest from Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 June.
You can expect to meet a wide range of employers before the end of the year with a variety of opportunities available, including casual summer work, part-time jobs, internships and graduate roles, as well as a host of other networking and development events. Read on to find out what’s on offer:
Monday 13 June
Virtual Mock Interviews with the National Careers Service 10:20-16:40 Get some interview practice with a friendly adviser in a 20-minute mock interview. Whether you are applying for, or thinking about applying for, placements, internships, graduate jobs or part-time work whilst at University, you can get feedback on your interview technique. Summer JobsFest: Workshops 11:00 – 15:00 Head over to the Marquee (Building 38P) for a series of interactive workshops where you can develop your skills, enjoy free refreshments, play games and win prizes.

Wednesday 15 June
Summer JobsFest 11:00 – 15:00 Join the team in the Marquee (Building 38P) for a chance to visit 16 exhibitor stands and network with a range of employers face-to-face for all students from all year groups and degree backgrounds. This is the perfect opportunity to ask those all-important career questions and find out about their variety of vacancies available, all while enjoying a free ice-cream, candy floss and/or a refreshing cold drink. There will also be music, games and lots of prizes to be won! |
