The Widening Participation & Social Mobility directorate is delighted to be hosting the Forum for Access & Continuing Education (FACE) Conference at Highfield Campus from 29 June to 1 July.
Delegates from around the UK will be joining us and the organising team would like to extend the invitation to staff across the university to attend some of the keynote lectures, which will include high-profile guests within the sector and widening participation.
These will be free to attend, but you must complete the following form forms.office.com/r/URD8hMSKQn so that you can be registered on entry and capacity managed.
The talks available are:
- John Blake, Director for Fair Access & Participation at the Office for Students
- Rt Hon. Justine Greening, former Minister and Founder of the Social Mobility Pledge
- Harry Kutty, Headteacher at Cantell School
- Dr Lee Elliot-Major OBE, Professor of Social Mobility, University of Exeter
- Dr Neil Harrison, Associate Professor in Education and Social Justice, University of Exeter

Currently, all talks are scheduled for the main lecture theatre in The Murray Building (58/1067) but the organisers will communicate any changes prior to the event.
Please be considerate in signing up for talks, as there are only limited spaces available alongside paying guests. These are in-person only and will not be live streamed.
