Following the amazing success of our Staff Party celebration on Wednesday, 29 June at Highfield, the Events team would like to thank colleagues for attending and helping to make this year’s party another resounding success.
Despite the cool weather, we had over 1200 staff in attendance, helping to create a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere. Colleagues were able to participate in variety of games and craft making activities. The appreciation area had over 50 hanging cards with handwritten messages of appreciation from staff to colleagues and teams. The team would like to thank the student ambassadors, catering, and the many volunteers for their support.
Our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark E. Smith commented:
“Thank you to everyone involved in the planning and delivery of this year’s hugely enjoyable and successful Staff Party celebration. It was a really lovely experience. It was especially nice for colleagues from all across the University to have the opportunity to come together. It was great for me to see and chat with so many colleagues in-person. I look forward to next year’s celebrations.”
