Invitation to join consultation about the future of the Zepler Institute cleanrooms

Our University is participating in an ambitious proposal to create a cross-UK cutting edge capability in Quantum Hardware. The National Institute of Quantum Integration (NiQi) is an alliance of leading UK device fabrication facilities that aims to supply reliable quantum components and services. As part of this Large-Scale Infrastructure bid, a team within the Zepler Institute is proposing to make some changes to the infrastructure of the cleanrooms located in Building 53 in order to secure long-term sustainability.

The team is inviting colleagues to join an online information session on Friday 22 July 2022 from 12:00 to 13:00. To join on the day, use this Teams link.

In the ten days following the information session there will be a chance to join separate consultation sessions in smaller groups where you will have the chance to have your say on the proposed changes to the Building 53 cleanrooms. More details on these consultation sessions will be provided on 22 July.

All members of staff are invited to join the information session, particularly those who are currently using or have an interest in using the B53 cleanrooms.

Take a virtual tour of the cleanrooms.
